No timeframe for Nurul Izzah to resume role as PKR No 2, says Fuziah

PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh has announced that the party has not set any specific timeframe for Nurul Izzah Anwar to resume her role as deputy president. The decision will be left to Nurul Izzah to determine when she wishes to return to her position. At a press conference today, Fuziah expressed the party's readiness to resume Nurul Izzah's duties when she is prepared to do so.

Last week, Nurul Izzah had stated that she had decided to step down from the deputy president role in order to pursue further studies. She was initially elected to the position at the party's polls last year. PKR's information chief, Fahmi Fadzil, had previously mentioned that Nurul Izzah would take a temporary leave from her duties after the party's national congress, though she had initially asked to step down from the role entirely, with the PKR leadership opting to allow her a temporary break instead.
