Public exams to become more transparent, secure and trustworthy: President Murmu

President Droupadi Murmu emphasized the need to make public examinations more transparent, secure and trustworthy during her address to the nation on Independence Day eve. She referred to students as "architects of India's future" and stressed the importance of joint efforts to safeguard their opportunities. With over 65% of India's population under the age of 35, the President highlighted the potential of the country's young population as its most valuable asset.

Murmu also recalled the role of the national song Vande Mataram during India's freedom struggle and praised the innovative solutions developed by young people in addressing various challenges. She noted the recent successful rocket launch by a young team and expressed her faith in India's bright and prosperous future. The President further emphasized the importance of physical and mental wellbeing of the youth and urged families and society to motivate them to move ahead with enthusiasm.

Reflecting on the impact of global conflicts on various countries, Murmu highlighted India's strong economic growth rate, projecting it to be more than twice the average global growth rate. She mentioned the completion of one year since the launch of Operation Sindoor against terrorism and emphasized the importance of the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty with Pakistan, a decisive step for India's farmers.
