Pakistani expats celebrate Independence Day in UAE

Pakistani expatriates in the United Arab Emirates celebrated their country's Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. Pakistani Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, inaugurated the festivities at the Embassy in Abu Dhabi by raising the national flag. In Dubai, Acting Consul General Fawad Ahmed Khan, alongside Consular officials, spearheaded the celebrations, igniting a wave of patriotic spirit among the community.

The Pakistani flag was prominently displayed as the expat community united to commemorate the 79th anniversary of Pakistan's Independence Day. Heartfelt patriotism and pride filled the air as the colors of the flag soared high. At the Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Pakistani Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan ceremonially cut a cake, while his counterpart Fawad Ahmed Khan, along with Consular officials, performed the same act in Dubai.

Community members in Abu Dhabi joined the celebrations, marking the occasion alongside Pakistani Embassy officials. In Dubai, Acting Consul General Fawad Ahmed Khan unveiled an exhibition of paintings featuring Quaid-e-Azam Muhammed Ali Jinnah, the founding father of Pakistan. Women and young enthusiasts actively participated in the festivities, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.

Throughout the day, attendees gathered to sing the national anthem, further fueling the patriotic fervor. The sight of community members coming together to honor their homeland created a truly heartwarming scene, evoking a deep sense of love and loyalty for Pakistan.
