No Nigerian singer has more hits than me – Davido boasts

Afrobeats sensation Davido has boldly declared that no Nigerian artist has more hit songs than himself. During a recent livestream with fellow streamer Davrel, the Omo Baba Olowo hitmaker challenged his peers to a battle of hits, vowing to put up $1 million in cash for the competition. "I will put $1 million cash on the table. Nobody has more hits than me," Davido stated firmly.

The Nigerian music industry boasts of Davido as one of its most prolific hitmakers, alongside the likes of Wizkid, Olamide, Burna Boy, Tekno, and Runtown. However, as of now, no artiste has taken up his challenge. Notably, Burna Boy also made a similar bet during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, but Reekado Banks, the only artiste to accept, was ultimately rejected by Burna Boy, who deemed him unworthy.
