How goat investment helped fund my education — Dino Melaye

Dino Melaye, a former Kogi State Senator, narrated in an interview how a modest investment of a goat he purchased at the age of 12 helped him fund his education. The goat gave birth and Melaye sold the offspring to pay for his secondary school fees. The subsequent offspring from the goat enabled him to pay for the first and second year of his education at Ahmadu Bello University.

Melaye emphasized that starting small and consistently investing were key lessons he learned from this experience. He began investing internationally at the age of 18, highlighting that a large initial investment is not necessary to start. Melaye also shared his investments in various companies like Apple, Microsoft, Uber and Zoom which appreciated significantly over time. He currently has diverse investments spanning Qatar, Oman, Dubai, the United States and Sweden.
