Dino Melaye claims PDP was sold to APC before Wike arranged funeral

Dino Melaye, the former Kogi State Senator, recounted in an interview how an investment in a goat at the age of 12 helped him fund his secondary school education and the first two years of his university education at Ahmadu Bello University. Melaye shared this in a KAA Truths article, detailing his journey from a humble background to investments in businesses and properties across several countries.

He emphasized the importance of starting small and consistently investing. At 12, Melaye bought a goat, which gave birth and sold its offspring to pay for his school fees. The offspring's proceeds also funded his university education. Melaye began investing internationally at 18, stating that one does not require substantial funds to start investing.

He mentioned investing in a Eurobond 27 years ago, when the euro was worth N60, and reinvesting the dividends, which he believes would be worth a fortune today. Melaye also discussed his investments in technology companies like Apple, Microsoft, Uber, and Zoom. He recalled being mocked for investing in Uber and Zoom, but they later gained significant value due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

His property investments started modestly with one franchise outlet in the U.S., which expanded over time. He currently has a diverse investment portfolio in Qatar, Oman, Dubai, the United States, and Sweden. Melaye, who served in the Senate from 2015 to 2019, encouraged Nigerians to invest, regardless of the amount, stressing that wealth creation demands discipline, hard work, and making the right decisions.
