Hadi yakin JPPM tak gantung PN

PAS President Hadi Awang is confident that the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition does not violate the constitution and can be held up by the Registration of Society Bodies Malaysia (JPPM). According to Utusan Malaysia, Hadi stated that there is no evidence or strong argument to suspend the coalition. Before delivering a lecture at Masjid Rusila in Marang, Hadi emphasized that there is no evidence or argument to suspend PN.

On Tuesday, JPPM confirmed receiving a formal complaint from Bersatu, another component party of PN, including allegations that the party is not involved in the meeting of the Highest Council (MT) PN, held on July 16. This complaint also includes allegations related to its position in the relevant coalition. When discussing Bersatu's claim of not being involved in the highest council meeting, Hadi, who is also a Member of Parliament for Marang, asked, "If it is against his own party, what does it mean?" referring to Bersatu's collaboration with component parties PAS and Wawasan in PRN Negeri Sembilan.

On August 9, Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, the Chief Spokesperson for PN, accused PN Chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar of being a mere puppet, while alleging that the coalition is actually controlled by Hadi. This statement came after Hadi claimed that Bersatu is no longer a component party of PN, as the constitution allows any party to choose to join or form a different coalition, automatically losing its membership in PN.

However, Ahmad Samsuri clarified that Bersatu remains a component party of PN, despite the complaint regarding its membership being dismissed.
