Hadi yakin JPPM tak gantung PN

Presiden PAS, Hadi Awang, strongly believes that the Perikatan Nasional (PN) political alliance is not violating the constitution until there is substantial evidence to the contrary. Speaking at a recent lecture in Marang, Hadi stated that there is no evidence or strong arguments to warrant the suspension of PN, according to Utusan Malaysia. He emphasized that until now, there has been no evidence or solid arguments to support the suspension of the alliance.

On Tuesday, the Joint Registration and Elections Commission (JPPM) acknowledged receiving a formal complaint from Bersatu, another component party of PN, including allegations that Bersatu is not involved in the meetings of the Majlis-Tinggi (MT) PN held on July 16. The complaint also covers the party's position within the alliance.

Hadi, who is also a member of Parliament for Marang, remarked, "If he is against his own party (PN), what does that mean?" in reference to Bersatu's actions aligning with fellow component parties PAS and Wawasan in the PRN Negeri Sembilan.

On August 9, Tun Faisal Ismail Aziz, the Chief Spokesperson for PN, accused PN Chairman Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar of being a mere puppet while accusing the alliance of being controlled by Hadi. This statement came after Hadi claimed that Bersatu is no longer a component party of PN due to its selection of joining or forming another alliance automatically resulting in the loss of its privileges under PN's constitution.

However, Ahmad Samsuri clarified that Bersatu remains a component party of PN, despite the complaint regarding the party's membership being withdrawn.
