Former Umno Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin suggested it would be premature and premature for Parliamentarians from the PN party to pressure the newly formed RCI to hold hearings, rather than requesting a detailed management and audit report on assets transferred to UJSB. Instead, he proposed that those advocating for the RCI to act should ask for a comprehensive management and audit report of the assets transferred to UJSB, a special purpose vehicle established by the Finance Ministry.

The report might reveal some issues, such as whether the assets were in such poor condition that they cannot be restored, or if the restoration plan is not progressing as intended.

Khairy criticized those who were urging the RCI to take action while Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was absent due to an elective medical procedure. He believed that it would be more appropriate and mature for those advocating for the RCI to stay in the Dewan and take part in the discussion. According to Khairy, Muhyiddin Yassin chose to remain and participate in the discussion, even though the debate may not answer all questions due to the absence of the Prime Minister.

He stated that this action could still demonstrate that all parties - BN, PH, and PN - acknowledge the seriousness of the RCI report and the need to discuss the future of TH.
