Dutch falcon breeder returns to Saudi international auction after learning Arabic in Madinah

Dutch falcon enthusiast Sam made his way from Madinah to the International Falcon Breeders Auction, driven by his love for the Arabic language. Four years ago, immersing himself in Arabic studies in Madinah sparked his interest in falconry. After six months of language mastery in Saudi Arabia, Sam returned home with a profound appreciation for the country's cultural heritage.

This newfound passion led him to establish his own falcon breeding farm. He has since participated in the auction three times, with four falcons in his latest entry. Sam explained that his initial entry consisted of four birds, which increased to seven last year. This year, he returned with four fresh additions to his collection.

Sam emphasized that his time in Saudi Arabia was the catalyst for his falconry journey. This time, he brought his family along to experience the auction, which he described as a blend of authentic heritage and international presence. He noted that his family enjoyed the event, which showcased the advanced organization and professionalism of this year's gathering.

Sam praised the National Center for Falcons for its support of breeders and participants, highlighting the expanded participation and the attractive environment it created for international farms seeking access to the market.
