Canadian companies betting Trump will buckle ahead of 50% tariff deadline

Canada's largest private sector union, Unifor, has warned against offering any concessions to the United States as the deadline for new 50% tariffs approaches next week. According to Lana Payne, Unifor's national president, the US has imposed tariffs on Canada and it should not give up leverage in the trade talks.
