Cabaran reformasi berbeza ketika dalam kerajaan, kata ketua pemuda PKR

PKR Youth Leader Kamil Munim asserted that the party must return to its roots by strengthening its grassroots foundation to ensure public support translates into electoral victories. He emphasized that the challenge of advocating for reform while in power differs from the struggle when outside of government and that this distinction should be seen as an opportunity for PKR to reflect, accept reality, and revamp its political strategy.

Munim stated that the party cannot give up, and they must accept this harsh reality with an open mind and heart, as the people have clearly signaled their intent.

Munim reiterated that PKR must revisit its struggle's roots by fortifying its grassroots, ensuring that public support is translated into electoral success. He clarified that garnering public support isn't merely about popularity but begins at the grassroots level by building a strong, organized organization.

He noted that public support gained through the recent primaries in Sabah, Johor, and Negeri Sembilan indicate weaknesses in PKR's grassroots that need to be addressed. He added that the reformative struggle since 1998 has proven that political waves do not form overnight but require time, patience, and continuous effort.

Munim highlighted that the ongoing PKR Congress, which concluded on Sunday, should serve as a platform for constructive criticism, suggestions, and advice to repair the party's weaknesses. He urged party members to return to their districts with renewed commitment, stronger spirit, and greater confidence to continue the reformative struggle.
