Arrangements in full swing for Independence Day fete at Golconda Fort

Preparations for the Independence Day flag-hoisting ceremony at the historic Golconda Fort are currently underway, with a comprehensive dress rehearsal conducted on Thursday to ensure all details are in place for the August 15 celebrations. The rehearsal adhered to the same schedule as the main event, featuring the arrival of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and the flag-hoisting itself.

Police forces conducted a thorough review of personnel deployment, allocated locations, and other final preparations. According to ACP Tolichowki Syed Fayaz, officers at all levels are actively involved in the logistical arrangements, anticipating around 500 to 600 participants for the Independence Day ceremony. Tamil Nadu's Special Police units also took part in Thursday's rehearsal, a practice that has continued annually, with Chhattisgarh contributing personnel last year and Karnataka doing so the year prior.
