Zulkifli Hasan visits Media Prima to strengthen strategic media cooperation

Kuala Lumpur - Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs) Senator Dr Zulkifli Hasan paid a visit to Media Prima Bhd's headquarters on the day of his appointment in December to bolster strategic media cooperation and explore joint initiatives. Accompanied by his senior staff, including private secretary Zairudin Hashim, media officers Nik Hasnah Ismail and Khairul Azhar Khayyun, Zulkifli met with Media Prima executives, including chairman Datuk Seri Dr Syed Hussian Aljunid, chief financial officer Rosli Sabarudin, and chief operating officer of Media Prima Omnia Datuk Effendi Omar.

During the visit, Zulkifli highlighted the significant potential Media Prima has for cooperation with agencies under the ministry, covering areas such as halal matters, Islamic education, Hajj management, Islamic social finance, mosque management, and other religious affairs. He expressed that the proposed collaborations aimed to bring greater benefits to the community and Malaysians.

Zulkifli also provided the delegation with a tour of Media Prima's broadcast and content operations, including the TV3 news and current affairs studio and Media Prima Audio.

On the final day of the visit, the delegation conducted a question-and-answer session with senior Media Prima management, followed by a networking session. Media Prima operates multiple media platforms, including television, print, radio, and digital channels, providing extensive reach to audiences nationwide.
