Wizkid to headline Detty December Fest 2026 opening night

Grammy-winning Afrobeats sensation Wizkid will headline the opening night of Detty December Fest 2026. The highly anticipated event, a celebration of music, culture, food, fashion, and entertainment, will take place from December 18 to December 30. Livespot360, the production company behind the festival, is set to return for its second year.

The opening night will feature Wizkid on the flagship Festival Stage, while the Pulse Stage will showcase emerging artists and future trends in African music. Detty December Fest's success last year, generating an estimated ₦396.5 billion in consumer spending, led to the establishment of a presidential task force on the festival by Nigeria's Federal Executive Council.
