Warisan’s Yusof Apdal denies quitting as deputy minister

Yusof Apdal, the Lahad Datu MP representing Warisan, has firmly denied rumors that he has resigned as deputy minister in the federal government. These claims circulating on social media have been described by the deputy science, technology, and innovation minister as false and malicious. According to Bernama, Yusof emphasized that he remains a member of the unity government administration and will continue to fulfill the trust and responsibilities placed in his hands.

The spread of such misinformation, he warned, could mislead the public and tarnish his reputation. Yusof also called upon the public to refrain from sharing unverified information and to consult official sources for accurate details. A viral social media post earlier suggested that Yusof had decided to resign as deputy minister with immediate effect.
