Terms and Policies

The CNBC websites, events, products, and services are governed by the Versant Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Supplemental Terms, and other relevant documentation provided in writing. The Versant Terms of Service include a mandatory binding arbitration provision. Capitalized terms not defined below have the meanings given to them in the Versant Terms of Service.

Modifications to the Supplemental Terms are encouraged to be checked regularly. By using CNBC services, users accept and agree to abide by the applicable Supplemental Terms, which incorporate the Versant Terms of Service. Additional terms apply to the use of CNBC+ Services. These CNBC+ Supplemental Terms prevail in case of conflict with the CNBC Help Center information.

A limited, non-sublicensable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license is granted to access and use the CNBC+ Services in accordance with the CNBC+ Supplemental Terms. CNBC+ offers live and modified live feeds of CNBC Content, video on demand (VOD) extras, closed captioning, video description information, and other data required by law or regulation.

Nielsen proprietary measurement software may be used for market research and measuring advertisement performance. Certain Content may not be authorized for specific geographic areas or devices. Content subjectivity, quality, ratings, types, genres, categories, and descriptions are provided for navigation and informational purposes only.

Users are responsible for choosing appropriate Content. Various technologies are used for optimal viewing, but playback quality depends on factors like format, location, internet speed, bandwidth, devices, and configuration. Time to begin viewing Content varies based on multiple factors. Use of CNBC+ is for personal purposes only and not permitted in public viewing spaces.

Automatic tuning away from, skipping, or deleting advertising or promotions is prohibited. Downloadable copies of Content are restricted, with exceptions for caching. Recording services within CNBC+ are allowed, but recording, copying, storage, rebroadcasting, retransmission, redistribution, scraping, republishing, recirculation, offering for sale, creating derivative works, integrating into other products, or sharing for profit or commercial gain is prohibited.

CNBC+ may change or suspend services without prior notice and without providing a refund of prepaid fees.
