Oyo conducts confirmation exam for 4,500 civil servants

The Oyo State government has recently administered the mandatory confirmation examination for civil servants, encompassing Grade Levels 1 to 6. This examination, conducted by the Ministry of Establishments and Training, attracted over 4,500 participants from various professions such as Clerical Officers, Clerical Assistants, Store Attendants, and other allied positions.

The Commissioner for Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade, confirmed these details in a statement released on Thursday. The examination took place concurrently at seven zonal centers spread across the state, with candidates from different cadres participating simultaneously. The Ministry's Permanent Secretary, Alhaji Hameed Alade Bello, addressed the candidates at the Simeon Adebo Staff Development Centre, emphasizing the importance of patience while awaiting their respective examination batches.

Bello encouraged the participants to perform their best in the examination, stating it as a crucial step towards career development. He also assured that all eligible officers would be required to sit the examination, with results expected to be communicated to participants through their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies following the grading process.

The examination encompassed subjects such as Public Service Rules 1 and 2, as well as Current Affairs.
