Reports of leaked images suggest Nintendo may release a special edition Nintendo Switch 2 and Pro Controller to commemorate the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. According to the Centro LEAKS account on X, two images were posted showing the themed console and controller packaging. The Switch 2 features black and green Joy-Cons with the Triforce emblem, while the dock sports an intricate gold Triforce design.

Similarly, the Pro Controller has black and green grips with a distinct gold Triforce in the center. A 40th anniversary logo is also visible on the packaging. Brazilian journalist Felipe Lima confirmed the authenticity of the images, stating they match his observations. If these leaks prove true, it would mark the first special edition Switch 2 since the console's launch.

However, Nintendo has not officially confirmed the news. The announcement of a Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake for the Switch 2 this summer has led to speculation that the leaked console might be connected to the game, but there is no confirmation of this link at this time.
