Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: On Thursday, a significant accident was narrowly avoided when a section of a hill collapsed onto National Highway-45 in Narsinghpur district. A video circulating on social media captures the aftermath, showcasing scattered large stones across the roadside and the highway obstructed by the landslide. The incident occurred in the Barghati forest area under the jurisdiction of Suatla police station, which blocked the vital Bhopal–Jabalpur route.

While no vehicles were struck by the falling debris and no injuries were reported, the landslide did disrupt traffic on the highway. Authorities and relevant departments are closely monitoring the situation, and the administration has implemented safety measures by converting the highway into a one-way system. This adjustment has affected the movement of vehicles between Jabalpur and Bhopal, with traffic being carefully managed at the site.

National Highway officials have also arrived at the location and erected barricades, with efforts underway to clear the debris and restore normal traffic flow on the main road.
