Iraq will not allow its territory to be used for attacks on neighbors, says PM Zaidi

Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Zaidi has declared that Iraq will not utilize its territory or airspace to launch attacks against neighboring nations, emphasizing its role in maintaining regional stability. The prime minister elaborated on this stance during a late-night visit to the Air Defense Command operations center on Wednesday, referring to the air defense system as "the shield of Iraq's skies and the first line of defense for its sovereignty."

Zaidi made it clear that Iraq will not endure any infringement on its airspace or threats to its security from any entity. He also underscored that the development of a robust military force is a crucial element in reinforcing Iraq's sovereignty and empowering it to make autonomous political and military choices.
