Fans storm pitch for Bruno Fernandes selfies as Man United beat Leeds

At Manchester United's pre-season friendly against Leeds at Dublin's Croke Park on Wednesday, the game took an unusual turn when young fans stormed the pitch to take selfies with Bruno Fernandes. Security did not act quickly enough, allowing at least three more fans to join the pitch invasion. The match, the first of its kind at the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 2009, ended 1-1 at the 90-minute mark.

Manchester United had led through Joshua Zirkzee in the 16th minute, but Leeds equalised shortly before halftime with Brenden Aaronson. Noussair Mazraoui scored the decisive penalty as Manchester United won 5-4 in a penalty shoot-out. United manager Michael Carrick praised his young players, describing their performance as "everything we expected of them."

Fernandes missed the penalty, and after James Justin's effort hit the crossbar, Mazraoui secured the win for United.
