Duolingo snaps up UK animation studio Animade

Duolingo, the mobile learning platform, has acquired Animade, a London-based animation and motion design studio. Animade, founded in London, has established an international reputation for crafting expressive motion systems, interactive experiences, and product storytelling for leading technology companies and brands. The acquisition will see the Animade team join Duolingo's Design Studio, enhancing the company's ability to support product innovation, growth experiments, and new creative initiatives across the business.

This move also strengthens Duolingo's creative presence in the UK, demonstrating its ongoing investment in top-tier talent.

Jen Judd, Co-Founder of Animade, expressed her excitement about joining Duolingo, stating, "I can't think of a more exciting place to continue that mission than at Duolingo."
