Divi’s skill training initiative empowers 21 women

Twenty-one women successfully completed a 35-day block-printing course at Divi’s Laboratories Limited Skill Training Centre in Chippada. The ceremony took place on Thursday, with the trainees receiving their certificates. Neelima Divi, the director, stated that skill training empowers women to become self-reliant and contribute economically to their families.

She encouraged the women to utilize their abilities and participate in the country’s development. Divi’s Laboratories plans to continue supporting women in nearby villages through further training opportunities to enhance their economic well-being.

The general manager, Y.S. Koteswara Rao, highlighted that the course would be beneficial for women interested in fabric designing, tailoring, and crafts. Jagadish, another general manager, mentioned that the trainees gained knowledge in fabric preparation, wood block usage, color mixing, single and double-color printing, and brick-pattern designs. Trainers Kaneez Fatima and Syed Naseema expressed their willingness to provide employment opportunities to the trainees.
