Yogi Adityanath: ‘Those who respect aastha (faith) can only bring vikas (development)’

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav for their attacks on the BJP and Modi government over unemployment and the state of education in the country. Adityanath argued that a government that respects faith can bring development, while those who do not have respect for faith cannot.

He inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 201 development projects worth over Rs 684 crore in Sant Kabir Nagar district. Adityanath highlighted an increase in the number of IITs and IIMs since 2014, attributing the rise to the Modi government's policies. He also mentioned the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, noting that 600 centres were now operating across the country.

Adityanath questioned the educational backgrounds of Gandhi and Yadav, suggesting they lacked understanding. He emphasized the need for political will in development and pledged zero tolerance for any harm to the youth. Adityanath discussed Sant Kabir's opposition to both Muslim and Hindu fundamentalism, highlighting Kabir's criticism of casteism and his message of judging individuals based on their deeds rather than their background.
