Ubah suai gambar: Rosol Wahid tuntut permohonan maaf

Hulu Terengganu's parliamentary representative, Rosol Wahid, has filed a lawsuit demanding an apology from an internet user who has circulated a doctored image on the Thread platform. The Perikatan Nasional MP alleged the image was created using the profile of Nur Mushawwir Hrsikesa, which he linked to Nur Mushawir Hrsikesa Thaitchana Muruthi.

He claims that Muruthi is a civil servant and an active politician serving as the deputy president of the PKR Youth in Penang. Rosol stated he has discussed legal action with his lawyer against Mushawir and any other parties repeating the dissemination, aiming to quash the transmission and make a public apology promptly. He said he took this step to protect his reputation and dignity.

Rosol emphasized that he takes the actions of those who shared and spread the altered image in the Dewan Rakyat seriously, as it was doctored to show a wedding attire for a Muslim woman, which he considers outrageous, attempting to tarnish and belittle his Islamic faith and parliamentary position. On the floor of Parliament yesterday, Rosol portrayed a special hearing regarding the incomplete report of the royal advisor on Tabung Haji as if the council meeting was held without a bride and groom.

Speaker Johari Abdul later confirmed the session as a debate, and Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi attended the Dewan Rakyat to represent the Cabinet.
