Rod Stewart, the 81-year-old British rock star, has cancelled upcoming US tour dates following heart surgery, according to his social media. Originally scheduled to perform in Las Vegas, Stewart has decided to take a four-week break to recuperate and return to full fitness before resuming his stage career.

His management revealed that this decision was based on medical advice, stating, "unfortunately, this means he will be unable to continue his current tour dates." In Utah, he was seen using oxygen during a performance and informed the audience that he nearly fainted.
