‘Amitabh Bachchan can’t do what Abhishek Bachchan did’: KBC 18 contestant stuns Big B

Amitabh Bachchan hosted the first contestant of the 18th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bablu Kumar Pandit, on Tuesday, August 11. Bablu expressed his admiration for Big B, but also praised the acting skills of his own relative, Abhishek Bachchan. He mentioned that he would have been a successful businessman if he weren't an actor, and that Abhishek's performances in The Big Bull and I Want To Talk were so impressive, even Amitabh Bachchan couldn't match them.

Bablu managed to reach the 14th question, but without any lifelines, he attempted the Rs 50 lakh question and lost. However, the 13th question left everyone, including Amitabh Bachchan, impressed. Bablu was confident about his answer, but it was the question that revealed a historical treaty, the Treaty of Mangalore, which ended the Second Anglo-Mysore War in 1784 and strengthened Tipu Sultan's position as king.
