Ram Temple Trust CEO’s interviews conclude, former Bihar DGP among 8 candidates appear on Day 2

The interview process for the CEO position at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust concluded on Wednesday, with eight out of the 16 shortlisted candidates appearing before the selection committee. This included former Bihar DGP Pravesh Saxena, who had appeared for the interview on Tuesday, while former Uttar Pradesh-cadre IPS officer Rajesh Pandey was interviewed for the second time.

The committee, comprising former Supreme Court judge Justice Pramod Kohli, Lt Gen Vishnukant Chaturvedi (retd), and Suresh Haware, focused on the candidates' work experience, vision, and work plan for the temple system during the interviews. The interviews took place in a closed-door setting within the temple complex. The selection committee, tasked with identifying a full-time CEO after embezzlement allegations, underwent a multi-stage screening process starting with 5,585 applications.

This led to 16 candidates being invited for in-person interviews at the temple campus on August 11 and 12. The committee, headed by Justice Pramod Kohli, aims to select three names from the finalists to make the final appointment, emphasizing a rigorous, transparent, and merit-based selection process.
