Pedreguer hosts two-week cultural conference featuring workshops, literature, and live performances

Pedreguer is set to commemorate a fortnight of cultural festivities, from August 22 to September 6, through a series of artistic events organized by the Fundació Família Costa i Costa. The 6th edition of this conference will showcase a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including musical performances, theatrical productions, creative workshops, and literary exhibitions.

A key feature of this year's program is the celebration of regional literature and creative arts, with support from local publishing house Edicions del Bullent. On August 28, author Quico Llopis will present his book Gent de carro, delving into the world of traditional rural life and the cart-driving community. Later, on September 4, artist and author Anna Roig Llabata will conduct an interactive drawing workshop inspired by her children's book Cinc en un llit, offering a creative outlet for younger audiences and families.

Alongside these sessions, the conference will feature live performances and educational activities, highlighting local talent and promoting the region's art scene. Attendees can expect a concert by local artist Júlia and adult theatre performances to be among the highlights of the vibrant program. This annual event has become a significant cultural highlight on Pedreguer's summer calendar, dedicated to fostering education, artistic expression, and historical preservation within the local community.
