Malaysian dies of heart attack during Bangkok transit

A Malaysian man passed away after experiencing a heart attack while passing through Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Monday. The 53-year-old native of Kedah was pronounced dead at a Bangkok hospital at 12:26 AM, according to the Malaysian ambassador to Thailand, Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah. The victim was en route from Kuala Lumpur to Hokkaido, Japan, when the cardiac event occurred during his transit.

The man was taken to a Bangkok hospital before the death certificate was issued, confirming the cause of death as a heart attack, as per the ambassador's statement. The victim's remains were claimed by his relatives who were also traveling on the same flight. All necessary paperwork was finalized on the previous evening with the help of the Malaysian embassy, and the remains were transported back to Malaysia via the Bukit Kayu Hitam land crossing. The remains reached Malaysia around 10 AM on the same day.
