Kuwait foils terrorist plot targeting vital facility

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced on Wednesday that they had thwarted a terrorist plot aimed at a critical facility in the country. They apprehended a Kuwaiti national linked to Daesh, who was planning to execute his scheme following extensive surveillance and monitoring. According to a statement from the ministry, the investigation uncovered that the suspect had undergone training in explosives and drone manufacturing.

He had also constructed a drone, intending to employ it in the execution of his terrorist plot against a vital facility. The ministry took prompt legal action against the suspect, turning him over to authorities for further investigation and enforcement of the law. The Ministry of Interior emphasized that they would persist in their proactive measures to monitor and counteract any actions or plans that might jeopardize the nation's security and stability, expressing their zero tolerance towards anyone attempting to undermine national security or endanger the citizens and residents.
