KATSEYE seeks to show raw side in new 'Wild Hearts' film

Los Angeles-based girl group KATSEYE, composed of members Megan Skiendiel, Daniela Avanzini, Yoonchae Jeung, and Sorana, is eager to reveal their more authentic and unfiltered side with their upcoming EP and tour, as well as the concert film "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS" premiering in theaters worldwide on Wednesday. The quartet, formed in 2023, currently operates with two members on hiatus.

Sophia Laforteza, the Filipino American vocalist and de facto leader, stepped away for mental health reasons on August 7 and will be reassessed in September. Manon Bannerman, a member of Indian descent, will remain a permanent part of KATSEYE. The documentary, "KATSEYE: WILD HEARTS," delves into the group's formation and rise, showcasing their journey as finalists on Hybe and Geffen's 2023 Netflix competition series "The Debut: Dream Academy."

The group's members reflected on the challenges they faced during the competition and how it prepared them for their current status as artists. With new music such as "Unloveu," co-written and co-produced by Lara Raj, and a return to chart-topping hits like "Pinky Up," KATSEYE is determined to continue their growth and share their genuine selves with fans worldwide.
