Indonesia's Bilal Hasan secures UFC contract with 45-second TKO

Indonesian MMA fighter Bilal Hasan has secured a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) after a swift 45-second TKO victory over India's Mridul Saikia in Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) Season 10 in Las Vegas. The decisive blow came from a powerful right overhand punch followed by ground strikes, prompting referee Herb Dean to stop the fight shortly into the first round.

Bilal's impressive performance marked his eighth stoppage win, bringing his professional record to an impressive 9-0, including one no contest. UFC President and CEO Dana White praised Bilal's skills, expressing excitement to see his UFC debut. This marks the second Indonesian fighter to receive a UFC contract, following Jeka Saragih in February 2023.
