Gauri Pradhan shares her mantra for glowing skin at 48

Actor Gauri Pradhan, currently 48 years old, recently revealed her secrets to achieving radiant skin on her YouTube channel, Gauri Hiten and Company. The actress attributed her glowing complexion to a simple mantra: eating well, exercising regularly, and practicing face yoga.

Dr Shweta Nakhawa, a consultant dermatologist at KIMS Hospitals in Thane, explained that a balanced diet is crucial for healthy skin. Nutrient-rich foods provide essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support collagen production and protect the skin from damage. Regular exercise also plays a vital role, as it improves blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients to the skin cells, which promotes natural renewal.

Additionally, exercise may help reduce stress levels, leading to fewer skin issues and a healthier complexion.

While face yoga has gained popularity, Dr Nakhawa cautioned that while it may increase facial awareness and relaxation, there is limited scientific evidence to support dramatic anti-ageing effects. Instead, the glow achieved through face yoga is likely a result of an overall healthy lifestyle.

Dr Nakhawa emphasized that there is no single secret to maintaining youthful, glowing skin. Rather, it is the result of consistent habits such as eating a balanced diet, staying active, getting enough sleep, managing stress, staying hydrated, and following a personalized skincare routine. When these habits become part of daily life, the skin often reflects that overall health.
