Everton have Burnley right-back Kyle Walker on transfer wishlist

Everton are reportedly interested in bringing Burnley right-back Kyle Walker to their Hill Dickinson Stadium club this summer. Manager David Moyes aims to bolster his defensive options ahead of the upcoming season and is keen on signing a couple of right-backs. Walker, a former Manchester City star, is highly regarded for his experience and quality, which would be beneficial for the Merseyside club.

Although Walker is 36 years old, he proved his fitness and determination by making 36 league appearances for Burnley last season, starting 35 times. The 36-year-old joined Burnley from Manchester City on a two-year contract last summer for £5 million. Everton had previously shown interest in Walker last summer and when he was a teenager.

If the move happens, Walker will sign for a nominal fee. The former England international had an opportunity to join the Toffees in the past, and Moyes is eager to work with him. So far this summer, Everton has signed Brennan Johnson, Christian Norgaard, Hayden Hackney, Tyrique George, and Merlin Rohl, making Walker their sixth addition.

Walker's signing could prove to be a valuable addition to their defense, especially after Burnley's relegation at the end of last season.
