Arizona Cardinals entrusting their QBs to Matt Schaub

The Arizona Cardinals have entrusted their quarterbacks to former NFL quarterback Matt Schaub as their new quarterbacks coach. LaFleur appreciates Schaub's ability to bring the quarterbacks back to the basics, focusing on cadence, eye movement, rhythm, timing, and accuracy. Schaub, who spent 17 seasons in the NFL from 2004-20, returned to football as a radio analyst for the Atlanta Falcons and for his alma mater, Virginia.

The 45-year-old missed something in his life and decided to return to coaching. Schaub's experience with the Cardinals' veteran starters, Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew II, and rookie Carson Beck could prove crucial as the Cardinals face a challenging schedule in the NFL's toughest division. LaFleur believes Schaub's understanding of the position and his experience as a former player will be a significant asset for the team.
