Zaliha slams PN MPs over walkout during Tabung Haji RCI debate

KUALA LUMPUR: Opposition leader Datuk Dr Zaliha Mustafa has expressed her disappointment with Perikatan Nasional (PN) MPs for leaving the room during a special session in the Dewan Rakyat to discuss the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) report on Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH). As the chairman of the Government Backbenchers Club (BBC) and PKR vice-president, Zaliha raised concerns about the opposition's lack of engagement in scrutinizing the RCI report's findings.

She questioned whether the opposition had genuine interest in openly debating the issues surrounding TH. Zaliha urged the opposition to challenge any discrepancies in the RCI report with facts and defend any parties they believe should be supported with arguments, rather than simply walking out of the Parliament.
