[UPDATED] Teen girl arrested for allegedly hurting classmate with kerambit at Shah Alam school

On August 5, a 14-year-old female student was arrested at a Shah Alam secondary school after allegedly injuring a male classmate with a kerambit, according to Assistant Commissioner Sarudin Samah of the district police. The victim sustained minor injuries to his arm. Sarudin stated that the suspect was taken into custody immediately following the incident and her statement was documented to aid the investigation.

She was later released on police bail. Initial investigations revealed that the suspect was experiencing health issues at the time of the incident, though further details were not provided. The kerambit is a small, curved knife resembling a claw.
