Snyder posted a picture of himself on the Warner Bros. lot on social media along with a song "Home" by Matthew Hall. Fans were intrigued by his return, speculating if it could indicate a potential collaboration between Snyder and Warner Bros., possibly for his planned remake of Escape From New York.

Snyder's return was indeed noteworthy as he recently hosted a staff screening of the studio's 1981 Arthurian classic Excalibur. The event, according to Page Six Hollywood, was marked by Snyder receiving a 'hero's welcome' from a full house of motion picture group employees and guests. However, Snyder's presence raised eyebrows, as it comes years after his tumultuous relationship with the studio, especially with the Justice League debacle and his subsequent venture at Netflix.
