URCS volunteers working in area damaged by overnight Russian attack on Mykolaiv

Volunteers from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) were on the ground in the Mykolaiv region following an overnight Russian attack. The URCS stated on Facebook that their emergency response team was actively working to assist those affected. They conducted a survey to identify individuals in need of help. Among those helped was a 75-year-old woman who sustained minor injuries and experienced a psychological stress reaction.

Volunteers provided her with first aid and psychological support. Due to the temporary unavailability of her home, they also assisted her in finding a secure place to stay. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the residential house where the woman was staying sustained severe damage from the Russian attack. Emergency responders were still present at the scene, battling fires caused by falling munitions and debris in the surrounding dry grass and reeds.
