Treat Urdu and Sanskrit with equality and respect, Tejashwi Yadav tells Bihar CM

Bihar's Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Yadav, has written a letter to Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary demanding swift payment of overdue salaries for teachers and staff in aided Madrasas and Sanskrit schools. The letter also criticized improper transfers of Urdu, Arabic, and Persian teachers in government schools and called for the appointment of Urdu and Sanskrit teachers in every government school.

Yadav alleged that many of these teachers have been declared "surplus" and included in transfer lists, effectively halting the teaching of these subjects. He stressed that Urdu and Sanskrit are integral to India's cultural heritage and that the government must treat both languages equally. The RJD National Working President demanded that the government take immediate action to address the pending salary arrears and ensure the availability of Urdu and Sanskrit teachers in all government schools.
