Shamsa Entertainment City opens in Aljada for Sharjah summer campaign

Sharjah's Sharjah Entertainment City has emerged in Aljada, a lively neighborhood, for a summer campaign. The family-friendly destination, themed "Shamsa Festival – Where Joy Shines," runs until September 5 and caters to children and young visitors through interactive attractions. Coordinated by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, Shamsa Entertainment City boasts activity zones such as Taj Shamsa Studios, offering workshops in drawing, design, and crafts; Shamsa Culinary Lab, where children can learn culinary skills and dessert-making; and the Grand Play Arena, featuring augmented reality technology, electric bumper cars, and adventure games.

Visitors can also leave messages of gratitude on a "Wall of Gratitude" or send messages to Shamsa. Over 7,000 Shamsa-branded gifts will be distributed to children as rewards for their families' shopping. Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, Chairman of SCTDA, emphasized that the Sharjah Summer Promotions aims to bolster Sharjah's standing as a family tourism destination through entertainment, creativity, and community engagement.

The campaign extends to Sharjah City, Central Region, and East Coast destinations like Khorfakkan, Kalba, and Dibba Al Hisn, involving more than 55 government and private-sector partners. Shoppers can avail discounts of up to 75% in thousands of retail outlets and shopping centers, and the campaign also includes over 60 tourism packages and experiences, as well as over 700 prizes.

Shamsa Entertainment City operates daily from 10am to 10pm on weekdays and until 11pm on weekends, welcoming visitors to Sharjah's summer escape filled with joy and diverse offerings.
