Wawasan has suggested that all parties are welcome to join the party and are focused on building political strength, according to Pengarah Pilihan Raya Wawasan, Badrul Hisham Shaharin, also known as Chegubard. The speculation arose after some social media posts claimed that Hanifah Abu Baker, the Negeri Sembilan State Negeri Sembilan BN deputy candidate for Labi in the upcoming PRN, met with Wawasan President Hamzah Zainudin.

Chegubard confirmed the meeting but denied speculation that Hanifah met Hamzah to disclose personal information involving BN President Muhyiddin Yassin and Deputy Chief Minister Azmin Ali. Despite past criticisms of Chegubard, Hamzah, and the party, he stated that Hamzah is an open-minded leader and not holding grudges. Chegubard also emphasized that Wawasan does not want to remain entangled in past conflicts.

"For us, this is about building strength for the future. We should not only look at the past. In our efforts to achieve a larger agenda, Wawasan must be inclusive and accept everyone as members," he said. "She (Hanifah) seems to come to expose the secrets of Muhyiddin, Azmin, and others. But for us, such matters are insignificant," he added.

Meanwhile, an unidentified UMNO leader confirmed that Hanifah met with Hamzah at the behest of some state leaders. "Hanifah also clarified to Muhyiddin, telling us about the details of the discussion. Hanifah told him that she will remain with Bersatu and rejected Hamzah's offer," the leader said without elaborating further. Hamzah established Wawasan after being sacked from Bersatu and is now the acting president in a crisis of leadership with Muhyiddin.

The party formally joined Perikatan Nasional (PN) last month despite Bersatu's objections, which questioned the process and legitimacy of the decision.
