PSG boss Luis Enrique does not expect top-level Super Cup game due to lack of preparation

Paris St Germain manager Luis Enrique anticipates a lackluster performance in the UEFA Super Cup against Aston Villa on Wednesday due to his team's limited preparation after the World Cup. Last season, PSG claimed their first European title by defeating Tottenham Hotspur in a penalty shootout, following a Champions League triumph.

This encounter will pit the Copa Europa League champions against each other. Despite having 15 players who participated in the tournament, many of them have only recently returned from international duty, causing issues with their preparation. Enrique emphasized that the physical condition of the squad is not where it should be, given the circumstances.

The club has been granted an additional dressing room in Salzburg, but the manager remains focused on the upcoming season, rather than the controversy surrounding FIFA.
