Osun money will remain in Osun State – Gov Adeleke

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has assured that the state's funds will remain within Osun for the development of infrastructure and job creation for its residents. This declaration came during a Town Hall session on Arise Television, in the run-up to the Osun State gubernatorial election slated for August 15, 2026.

Since taking office in 2022, Adeleke's administration has reportedly made a significant positive impact across all sectors of the state. He highlighted how resources such as tractors and seedlings have been provided to farmers, contributing to the agricultural sector's growth.

Adeleke emphasized that his administration's strategy has been to keep all jobs and economic activities within Osun, ensuring that the benefits reach the local populace. The governor proudly stated, "Osun money remains in Osun State. Our economy is improving because all the people hired to do all the jobs are here in Osun."

Moreover, Adeleke painted himself as a catalyst for change, saying, "I have brought light to Osun State because I am the light. And when light comes, darkness vanishes." His administration's achievements extend beyond road construction, as he also claims to have installed street lights throughout the state.
