Osun Election: Tinubu wants you out – Primate Ayodele warns Gov Adeleke

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, cautioned Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday that President Bola Tinubu desires him to be removed from office. Ayodele informed the governor that the All Progressives Congress (APC) plans to manipulate the upcoming poll. According to a statement released by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Tinubu is closely monitoring the election, which is set for Saturday.

This warning follows insinuations made by other politicians in the state that Tinubu has no interest in the election, following a directive from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to unfreeze Osun State's accounts. Ayodele urged Adeleke not to heed these claims and to take all necessary measures to secure his position. He emphasized that Tinubu is deeply involved in the election and wants Adeleke out of power.

Ayodele cautioned Adeleke to avoid being deceived by those who suggest the president has no interest in the election, stating that if Adeleke loses, it will be a challenging journey for him and difficult to gain anything from the court. He warned that the APC intends to use money, influence, power, forces, and the presidency in the election, making it a serious and challenging situation for Adeleke.
