Libyan prime minister vows response to drone attacks on oil facilities

Libya's Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah has vowed a response to drone attacks on oil and industrial sites, calling them a serious escalation. In a statement, Dbeibah emphasized that such attacks are a crime and an escalation, endangering Libyan citizens and workers while targeting crucial facilities linked to the nation's security, economy, and resources.

He stressed that using drones to strike critical infrastructure is not a one-time incident, but a deliberate and dangerous act requiring a firm response to safeguard the state, its institutions, and prevent future attacks.

Dbeibah's warning comes in the wake of recent drone strikes on oil and industrial facilities in Libya. The prime minister's office has launched investigations to ascertain the origin of the drones and identify all individuals involved in planning, executing, and participating in these attacks.
