Tinubu’s performance deserves re-election, says Presidency

The Presidency has stated that President Bola Tinubu should be re-elected in 2027 due to the economic reforms and infrastructure development his administration has championed across the country. Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Special Duties, Tunde Rahman, made this assertion during a nationwide inspection of federal and state infrastructure projects in Nasarawa State, led by Tinubu's Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Rahman emphasized that the infrastructure projects seen, such as iconic road projects and interventions in healthcare, represent "lasting legacies" of the Tinubu administration, which will benefit the common man for years to come. He dismissed opposition claims that the President had not achieved anything during his first term, arguing that the removal of fuel subsidy freed up resources that have been reinvested into tangible economic development projects.

Rahman stated that both Nasarawa State Governor Sule and Benue State Governor Alia have acknowledged the positive impact of federal fiscal reforms on their ability to execute projects. Presidential aide Abdulaziz Abdulaziz echoed Rahman's sentiments, describing the inspected projects as evidence of the "revolution" brought by the Tinubu administration in terms of public infrastructure.

He argued that the lasting legacies of the administration will better the lives of Nigerians for years to come.
