Temitope Osoba repeatedly predicted her death, family recounts last moment

The family of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has detailed her final moments, stating that she repeatedly expressed her belief she would die on the day she passed away. Osoba's aunt, Pejuola Ogunesan, recounted the incident in an interview with actor Kunle Afod and Dupe. According to Pejuola, Osoba told her at a police station that her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, had predicted her death on that day.

The revelation emerged amidst controversy over the circumstances of Osoba's death, with Onadeko offering his own account of her final days. Pejuola explained that Osoba had been estranged from the family after leaving Evercare Hospital with Onadeko and actress Foluke Daramola for breast cancer treatment. Osoba accused them of taking her phone during surgery preparation and subsequently blocking them.

When she called them, she found that they had all been blocked. Pejuola said Osoba identified her and her sister at the police station as her aunts. She stated that Osoba intended to visit a prophetess whom she considered family, following advice to seek spiritual intervention for disturbing dreams and inability to sleep. Pejuola alleged that Osoba accused the prophet of multiple relationships and requested to be separated from him, leading to her staying with a hairstylist.

The family later took Osoba to another church, where she expressed distress over the fiancé's prediction. Osoba was later taken to a hospital, where she died just minutes after arrival. The conflicting accounts surrounding Osoba's death have raised questions about her final movements and relationship with those around her.
